You can only create an MS SQL database if your hosting plan has been allocated with one. If you require MS SQL and you do not have the option then please contact Sales with your requirements.

To setup an MS SQL database:

• Login to your control panel
• Click "Domains"
• Click the domain we are working with
• Click "Database Manager"
• Click "Add New"
• Select MS SQL and give the database a name
• Once the database is created you then add a database user, selecting a username and password. This user will be the database owner.

The Connection Information given on that screen tells you the servers hostname. The hostname, username and password are the only information you need for your SQL connections and Enterprise Manager. The authentication type is always SQL Authentication.
