Ensure you have followed the instructions to configure your mail client software. For example the instructions for Outlook Express are here:
http://64.62.172.86/kbase/Default.asp?ToDo=view&questId=9&catId=3

The most common issue is that people do not setup their SMTP (outgoing) mail to authenticate. In order to do that in Outlook Express:

  • Click Tools
  • Click Accounts
  • Select the email address from the list and click properties
  • Click the "Servers" tab
  • At the bottom tick the box for "My server requires authentication"
  • Click Settings next to it and ensure it is set to "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
  • Click OK and Close the windows.
  • If you have followed those instructions including turning on SMTP authentication and your outgoing mail still doesnt work you can contact our support staff. However it may be that your internet provider is blocking your attempts to send mail from a remote mail server. They wish you to use their mail server instead. Call your ISP and ask them for the address of their SMTP (outgoing mail) server. You then need to use this in your email software settings.
