System Status
Below is a description of any current issues related to the services we provide.

30/10/2008 - SQL Server SQL1.PROSQL.NET:

Our server monitoring is indicating a degraded state for the hard drive RAID array in this server. The server is still functioning correctly, but data is at risk until the situation is corrected.

Down time for this procedure should be less than 20 minutes. Rebuilding of the array itself can take a few hours, but this can be done in the background while the server is online. Server performance during the rebuild will be affected slightly as disk performance will be degraded until the rebuild is complete.

We will therefore be taking this server offline briefly this evening to replace the faulty drive. Once thats complete the array rebuild will proceed while the server is back online.
